A Charming Place in the
Howardian Hills

"Great location for visiting Castle Howard which is 3 miles away. Lovely cafe and deli less than a mile away which does great breakfasts and lunch. Opposite the cafe, the pub The Crown and Cushion does a wonderful Sunday lunch. We had the field to ourselves on the site. The shower was good. Basic facilities but clean. A very quiet site."

"A fantastic small campsite with all the facilities you can require from a small site. Relaxed and friendly. Close to the A64 but the shelter belt of trees protects from the noise. Great position for a week's visit with everything you can want within 1 hour."

"Sarah operates an excellent site and we greatly enjoyed our short stay here in glorious weather. This is our kind of site: all the facilities you would require, grass pitches and great views. "What a lovely campsite, very peaceful and tranquil with great views over the Howardian Hills. Very clean facilities. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and helped us out when we had a flat battery. The village is only a 15 minute walk away with a friendly pub with good food and a bakery/deli. We would recommend this site to others and we will hopefully be returning ourselves."

If you are happy in a field, with a basic shower and a couple of toilets, but away from everything, just the very friendly sheep, lambs and horses, then this is the place for you.
